Aiden is a Senior Mining Professional with extensive experience in Mine Operations and Technical Services senior management. Postings include operations in Gold, Iron Ore, Polymetallic Lead-Zinc-Silver-Gold, Platinum Group metals (Primary Palladium), and Coal. With each of these operations, there has been a focus on safe operations, operational effectiveness and personnel development. Each operation was safer at the end of the assignment than at the beginning, as should always be the case for any high quality Leader. There has also been a focus on operational improvement systems and execution, with the successful completion of many improvement projects, across safety, production, and technical pieces of mining operations. And finally, a successful operation has successful people, so there has been a sustained focus on developing people and helping them get better at what they do and be ready for their next opportunity (and creating that opportunity for people in many cases).
After a relationship with Mr. Jim Decker over many years, Aiden became an independent consultant in 2014 and entered into a partnership with Jim and his company Jim Decker & Associates Inc. to deliver a Development Program called “The Professional Supervisor”. Having taken and benefited from this program, then using it from a management perspective, as well as viewing it as an industry best program, made the decision to partner in its delivery an easy decision.
